Our trained care staff provide medication support in line with each person's care plan. This may include verbal prompting or prompt-and-assist support, including support with medication supplied in a Venalink system.
Dòchas staff do not administer medication. Where medication administration is required, we work with the District Nursing Team or other appropriate healthcare professionals to make sure the person receives the right support.
