Why Dòchas?

Our name means hope.

Dòchas is a Scottish Gaelic word meaning hope. We chose it because care should never be only about getting through the day. It should help people hold on to who they are, stay connected to the life they know, and look forward with confidence. That sense of hope sits at the heart of Dòchas.
